Laverne Delaney is a passionate educator, strategist, and advocate with over 20 years of experience dedicated to uplifting communities through social justice, education, program development and strategic planning. She holds an MBA in Public and Non-Profit Management, a Master’s in Educational Administration, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
As the founder of BDL Coaching LLC, Laverne collaborates with public service organizations to develop sustainable strategies that advance equality, economic growth, and educational opportunities in urban communities. Serving children, men, women and families is her life’s work that has evolved and expanded institutions throughout her hometown of Chicago and beyond. Her exclusive training academy and programs have fostered her imprint on several entrepreneurial non- profits and social enterprises start ups. Driven by a deep commitment to making a lasting, positive impact, she ensures that every organization she partners with is equipped to lead with purpose, compassion, and a clear vision for the future.
